????The Qingdao metro line NO.11 surrounding area improvement projects kicked off recently. The project, which is 58.44 kilometers long, will be a shining spot in showing beautiful view surrounding of metro line NO.11, and also offer experiences to similar projects in other metro lines.
????The Metro line NO.11 is a north-south railway traffic line in eastern part of eastern coastal area of Qingdao.The line starts from intersection at Miaoling Road and Shenzhen Road in Laoshan District and ends at Aoshan Bay in Jimo, The whole line is about 58 kilometers long, and the most part of the project is overhead. It has 22 stations, 18 of them are overhead, and 4 are underground.
????It is known that the line is mostly on the ground. The line crosses countryside, fields, mountains, rivers and other natural areas. The project plan takes the difference of light railway bridges and landforms along the line into consideration, it integrates different topography and landform to form a harmonious and integrated view belt, which fully shows the feature of Qingdao: Mountain, Sea, City, Island and Bay, to integrate the Qingdao metro line and Qingdao local culture.
????The view zone prefers to integrate tree, bush and grass together to adapt to different seasons. As much as 200 kinds of botanical plants are chosen to show botany diversity to effectively integrate dot, line and area. The project also will spend great efforts in building cluster view system, including urban civil road, beautiful countryside, field view, mountain eco recovery, and water system integration.
