????The Qingdao Port Group and the US Miami Port jointly signed brother port relationship agreement recently. According to the agreement, both parties will deepen cooperation in many areas, including cargo trade and cruiser industry development based on their owned advantages. Until now, the Qingdao Port already has 21 brother ports in the world, its friend circle expanded to Japan, German, US, Spain, Pakistan, Cambodia, Malaysia, and some other countries. Through the way of establishing friend port relations, the Qingdao Port greatly boosts internationalization pace and gained rapid development in the international strategy, further helping Qingdao Port to change old development power to new one to realize transformation.
????The Miami Port is the world’s largest cruiser port, called the World’s Cruiser Capital. About 4 million visitors enter or exit the cruiser in the port. “Qingdao as the a key port city in Northern China and famous tourism city has given advantages in developing cruiser economy. As Qingdao Port cruiser homeport is put into use, Qingdao cruiser industry development is in racing lane,” The Qingdao Port Group president Zheng Minghui said. Cooperating with the Miami Port will further expand the vision of the Qingdao cruiser industry to enable Qingdao to better learn experiences and the mode of Miami in developing cruiser industry to boost development of Qingdao cruiser industry in faster speed and good quality.
