????On April 4th, the general engineering contract of the high-speed railway from Djakarta to Bandung to be jointly constructed by Chinese and Indonesia enterprises, the first order of “going out” of China Railway High-speed, was signed in Djakarta, Indonesia. CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd., as the member of contractor alliance, will provide for the high-speed railway from Djakarta to Bandung in Indonesia 11 lines of high-speed EMUs of 8 carriages with the speed of 350km per hour. These EMUs will be measured to the specific tropical climate condition and human culture of Indonesia.
????The high-speed railway from Djakarta to Bandung is the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia. The 1st phase project with the total length of 142km will connect Djakarta, the capital of Indonesia and Bandung, the 3rd largest city in Indonesia with the maximum designed hourly speed of 350km.
