The main pollutant is ozone.
????The statistics shows that since this July Qingdao controls a monthly average pollutant all within the limit for 2 consecutive months, among them pollutants such as PM2.5 is in the best level compared with the same time since 2013.

????In order to control air pollution in the summer season, Qingdao has released an Action Plan for Control Volatile Organic Compound and Burning Coal Pollution in Summer Season 2016 of Qingdao and Special Action Plan for Auto Pollution Control in Summer Season 2016, the city has adopted measures in many aspects, including VOC control in key industries, special control of lampblack in catering industry, low discharge of coal burning boiler reform, to prevent air pollution, the city also puts great efforts in curbing flying dust and monitoring dust pollution in the construction site, and organizing law enforcement bureaus to shut down illegal stone factories, and it achieved great effects.
