| ????61-year old Du Gaogu, a famous farmer from Zhuji village of Yanghe town of Jiaozhou started doing farm work from 18, and he has spent his whole life in the field. To achieve the high yield dream in his heart, Du established a cooperative to introduce the large tractor and unmanned plane and put great efforts into protective farming technology. The average yield of wheat reached 700 kilograms per mu, the average yield of corn reaches 1,000 kilograms per mu. He promotes a new type of farming and hosts 3,000 mu farmland of farmers living nearby; he leads the villagers to acquire wealth together. He received the honor National Grain Production Model Individual by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2014. |
