JINAN ¨C China international Zheng Zhi netted
two goals including a winner dee
p into injury time as China's Shandong Luneng
came from a goal down to beat J.League champions Yokohama F Marinos 2-1 to reach
the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League.
¡¡¡¡Daisuke Nasu headed the Marinos into a seventh minute lead but Zheng Zhi
leveled with a brilliantly struck equalizer in the 38th minute before breaking
between two Marinos defenders to score the winning goal four minutes into added
time.
¡¡¡¡The victory was Shandong¡¯s five consecutive win in Group F as they moved
into an unassailable six-point lead with just one round of games remaining.
